With the mean temperature usually hovering around -2 degrees Celsius, Paris felt unusually cool exactly 11 years ago from today, when the temperature plummeted down to -10 degrees Celsius. The air felt readily wintry that day. Yet undeterred, I ventured out to explore Paris covered in Snow, an unusual scene to the unsuspecting eyes of one who has lived only for a short while.
Passing by Place Adolphe Chérioux, a small public park by where I used to live, rue Petel, I eventually reached Place de la Concorde, looking down Allée Centrale towards Jardin des Tuilleries and out to Musée du Louvre.
